AT THESE MARKETS, THE GROWERS SELL HEALTHY, NUTRITIOUS VEGETABLES. SOME ALSO OFFER ORGANIC EGGS – A VALUABLE SOURCE OF PROTEIN – FROM CHICKENS THEY RAISE THEMSELVES. AND NOT ALL OF THE PRODUCE IS SOLD. MUCH OF IT IS DONATED TO LOCAL SOUP KITCHENS AND FOOD PANTRIES SO IT TRULY BENEFITS EVERYONE IN THE COMMUNITY.
